On our trip to Petit Jean State Park in Arkansas, we stopped at one of our favorite campgrounds. We wanted to share this park with our grandchildren who were traveling with us. It is a great park with plenty of shady sites. Many sites back up to and overlook the lake.
Dylan and Hailey enjoyed running down the slope towards the lake. Since we live on the plains in Cajun country this is an experience that they can only have when they travel away from home.
There is a wonderful paved trail that encircles the lake.
There are plenty of places to stop along the path and enjoy the sites.
This looks like a good place to sit and read a book. The grandkids enjoyed the ducks in the lake.
